BOEX Standards for Entry
The ISKCON Board of Examinations (BOEX) sets the standard of qualification for entry into the Bhakti-sastri examination.
- Chanting: 16 rounds of japa daily.
- Regulative principles: following the four regulative principles.
- Recommendation: a recommendation from an ISKCON authority who knows the student well.
Students coming through the AVC – Bhakta Programme are expected to meet these same qualifications.
These are the standards for entry. The examination itself follows the BOEX pattern — open-book and closed-book examinations, essays, sloka recitation, and attendance — as set out on the Bhakti Sastri course page.
